What is a Gleason Score?

Your Urologist will send tissue from your biopsy to a pathologist who will look at each specimen to determine if there is prostate cancer. If there is cancer, there are several important aspects of the pathology to understand. A critical piece of information this report provides is your Gleason Grade / Score.
